The most successful renovations transform the way a home is lived in while preserving the qualities that first made it special. Donne Street was guided by this philosophy, reimagining the kitchen, powder room, laundry and bathroom to better support contemporary family life while introducing a renewed sense of warmth, character and individuality.

The design centred on creating a more intuitive and functional layout, improving everyday living through thoughtful planning rather than dramatic change. Classical detailing was combined with modern functionality to produce interiors that feel timeless, cohesive and effortlessly liveable.

Material selection became an opportunity to introduce personality within a restrained architectural framework. The Bell Pendant by Normann Copenhagen provides a sculptural focal point to the kitchen, while richly patterned encaustic floor tiles add craftsmanship and visual interest to the bathrooms. A vibrant yellow front door offers a welcoming expression of the family's individuality, creating a memorable first impression without compromising the home's timeless appeal.

Through careful planning, enduring materials and thoughtful detailing, Donne Street demonstrates that beautiful homes are shaped as much by personality as they are by architecture. The result is a creative, welcoming family home that continues to feel as fresh, functional and uplifting today as it did when it was first completed.
